I had such and sweet and memorable time at Lara's Illuminated Manuscript Retreat. She is a WONDERFUL hostess and the entire day with filled with sweet conversation mixed with quiet times of reflection. Lara did an excellent job guiding us on how to create a beautiful work of art and supplied us with all the tools we needed. Throughout the day, we were treated with delicious snacks, tea, and coffee, but the highlight was the beautiful 3-course meal we all shared together in the evening.

It was so relaxing and refreshing!

It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Indian Paintbrush Art and Design’s Illuminated Manuscript workshop. Lara generously and thoughtfully condensed her class to suit the needs of the already-liturgically-full schedule of our Benedictine retreat and carefully designed a gorgeous template based on our particular theme Fidelia. She provides a unique combination of personal and professional skills, being flexible in her approach, dependable in her communications, and encouraging of various skill levels. Everyone in our group left feeling refreshed and delighted by what had been accomplished and by having a beautiful visual to use while saying the Office during the weekend and beyond. There is something powerful about curating an environment in which friends can create together, especially in a largely consumeristic leisure society, and Indian Paintbrush Art offers a vital service by which to foster this worthy goal.
