I am a Dallas -based wife, mother of four, traveler, reader, pursuer of Beauty, artist and creator.

We are a Byzantine Catholic, adoptive, transracial family.

I love traditional art techniques & forms from many cultures, especially Asian art. I enjoy using old forms to create new content. My work is often inspired by what I read - poetry, Scripture, the Liturgy, & great literature.

I earned a BA in Art and a Masters in English from the University of Dallas (1996, 2001) and studied Icon writing at the Byzantine School of Iconography under Theodoros Papadoulos (2016 - 2017) and various traditional arts at the Princes' School of Traditional Arts (2017 -) .

I have been creating art & doing pieces on commission for over 25 years, and teaching Art and English since 1997.

Together with my husband, I founded a Catholic liberal and practical arts 7th -12th grade school, which I ran from 2019 - 2023.

I have designed multiple websites and done graphic design work for charities, schools, and individuals.
